Maria Walden immigrated to the United States at three years old from Guayaquil, Ecuador. Growing up in a household of 1st generation immigrants shaped her mind to see opportunities where others might miss them.
Upon graduating High School, she served the community as a professional firefighter paramedic at the Village of North Palm Beach. While there, she earned her degree in nursing and is an active registered nurse. During her time in the fire service, Maria was a trustee for the police and fire pension board. Her fiduciary responsibilities included strategic planning of member funds and investment growth for the future. Being exposed to REITs through the pension board inspired her to start her career in real estate. In 2013, Maria began purchasing residential, commercial, and multifamily homes as investment properties. Eventually, she retired early from the Fire Department to pursue a full-time career as a real estate agent.
With over 200 transactions, in both sales and leases, with a combined sales volume of over 50 million, she prides herself in customer service with processes and procedures to help achieve the highest level of service. Maria has a wide range of experience from first-time home buyers to working with investors seeking sophisticated products for specialty tax use and opportunity zoning. As a state-licensed mortgage loan originator, she stays one step ahead of the competition, understands financing and current market products, and has more resources to serve better.
Proud to serve Ocala, Wellington, and the greater Palm Beach area.
Maria is married to her husband Aaron of 11 years. She recently moved to Ocala with her two boys, Max and Emmett, and a Vizsla puppy name Pepper.
