Lauren is from NY and is a fresh new addition to Sotheby's Equestrian in Wellington. She is a 2nd generation realtor, her mother has been a VP with Sotheby's/ Daniel Gale Realty on LI for decades. After obtaining her BA from the University of Pennsylvania she went on to earn graduate degrees from both City University of New York and Columbia University. She ran a very successful business manufacturing textiles overseas for import to the USA. She is an expert at negotiating and can help her clients get the best deal possible.
Being a lifelong equestrian, Lauren arrived in Wellington in 2017 to compete in the Winter Equestrian Festival and instantly fell in love with everything Wellington has to offer. She managed a large farm and as a hobby helped many riders and trainers secure seasonal stalls. In 2018 she made Wellington her permanent home and came to realize her passion for real estate could be satisfied by working for Sotheby's and helping people find the perfect farm or home.
Lauren is uniquely qualified to assist equestrians in finding their perfect match, whether it be a farm, house or seasonal rental. She cares for and rides her own sales horses and competes successfully in the amateur jumpers, both at Wellington's Winter Equestrian Festival and at shows all over the country. Because of this responsibility, Lauren truly understands what is needed when caring for high end horses. As she has bought, sold, and built multiple homes on Long Island, she also understands the process and is capable of advising her clients throughout. She has 3 children, 1 is a working student and actively involved in the equestrian community, therefore, she has a plethora of experience dealing with the educational needs of the junior riding community.
